RE: Drummer Boy Campground in Pa.(opinions)
Just spent 6 days there over 4th of July weekend, 2nd time we have been there. We enjoyed it - easy in easy out - staff is polite, friendly and helpful. The sites in the front are tight but in the back where the majority of pull through sites are is spaceous and not real close together. It is 2 miles to the visitors center for the battlefields. I am sure you will enjoy it - it is pretty much hassle free, quiet and relaxing.
If you have any specific questions I would be glad to tell you what I know.
RE: Seville experience
We just picked up our 08 Seville and spent 5 days in it (shake down). This is our retirement home :-). We love everything about it, the stone looking fireplace was a selling point for us. IT was 30-40 degrees all 5 days, the electric heater with the cieling fan on kept the temperature up so the furnance didn't kick on much. We were very comfortable.
The kitchen was a big selling point for my wife...the 17cu double fridge is great, lots of counter space and storage.
The windows are reflective so you can't see in during the day and it has the pull down cloth day and night shades...great feature.
It was very solid...did not feel any movement front to back or side to side while inside moving around.
Towed it about 50 miles towed great. Weighed it and the book says 11,600 dry it is actually about 12,500 and the hitch pin is actually about 2700.
We are very happy with our choice, it fit our taste and needs, if if fits yours I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we are..good luck

Keeping RV Clean
We just purchased our retirement home and the truck to tow it. We should be full-timing early next year :B. My question is how do you keep the camper washed and waxed when full-timimg?
RE: Whats Your Real Weights? Truck and Trailer. The Real Deal
Just purchased new truck and fifth wheel, weighed them today:
08 Ford F-350 6.4 PSD Super Duty 4x2, 4.30 axle ratio DRW, Boss tow pakgage...GVWR-13'000, GCVWR-26,000, GAWR-9,000 and fifth wheel tow rating 18,300
08 Seville (4 slides) VF35CK actual length 37'2". Book weight..11,269, hitch pin weight 2290, cargo capacity 4,329
CAT Scale: truck with Me (208lbs) the wife (130), full tank of fuel, fifth wheel hitch and 100 lbs of stuff: steer axle: 4,820, Drive axle: 3,920, total: 8,740
Truck, same loading with fifth wheel (dry with a couple hundred pounds of stuff) hooked up: steer axle; 4,900, drive axle; 6700, trailer axle; 9860...total combined 21460.
I figure my king pin weight at around 2,780 and trailer wieght (dry) 12,600, king pin weight about 21%.
Just a note for information, the book says camper dry weight 11,269 and hitch weight 2,290....big difference then actual.
Photo of truck and camper in profile. Should be fulltimers early next year
